  • American Legion took it over and used it as a meeting hall, then converted into dry goods store
  • Reopened around 1950 as gambling casino by Whitey Hirschman
  • Gambling flourished until 1953 when law intervened; operated bar and antiques store until 1965
  • Redesigned to restaurant version in 1972
