• Lefty's was founded in June 1993 by Dave Hausmann and John Peterson, two ski enthusiasts
• Dave has been running Lefty's since 1998 after John moved to the east coast
• Lefty's is not named after one of the founders being left-handed; it originated from their fond memories of skiing on Baldy, particularly on a run called Lefty's Bowl
• Lefty's is located in an old house built in the 1930s, which has undergone several renovations over the past 90 years
• In the summer of 2022, Dave decided to move on but waited for a buyer who would preserve Lefty's
• In October 2022, a group of over 50 like-minded investors purchased Lefty's real estate and business to preserve its history, character, and dedication to serving the local community and visitors
• Lefty's offers great food, drinks, and an atmosphere that will continue to serve the Ketchum and Wood River Valley locals and visitors
