• American Capital Advisory was started in 2006, with its first office in Virginia Beach, VA
• Fleet Smith had sold his interest in the (at the time) largest Registered Investment Advisory firm in Virginia, but still felt he had something to offer
• In 2012 Matthew McNeal and Ian Jameson joined the firm and opened the Ketchum office. Shortly after it became global headquarters of ACA
• Gib Davenport opened an American Capital office in Richmond, VA 2016
• Matthew Cullen CFA as a portfolio manager added to Richmond team
• Maunsel Hickey and Renee Faltings added as advisors to Ketchum team
• Focus on providing best service and most efficient investment solutions for clients
