- Celebrities flocked to area; Ernest Hemingway finished For Whom The Bell Tolls at Suite 206 of Sun Valley Lodge
- Evidence of star-studded history can be viewed at Sun Valley Lodge and Ketchum Museum/Community Library
- Sun Valley is located within unceded territory of Shoshone, Bannock & Lemhi tribes
